Makayla, daughter to Jose and Stevie Carreno, and David and Nicole Johnson, is a beautiful, strong, independent 21-year-old woman who was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma on June 10th. She has been a member of the Morris community her entire life. She attended Morris grade school, was on the Morris High Guard team, and graduated from Morris High School. She is currently employed at Costco Distribution Center. Makayla started chemotherapy treatments on June 27th. The doctors stated that there is a 70-80% chance of success after the first 6 months of treatment. While Makayla is a fighter, she still needs all the love and support we can give. The proceeds from this benefit will help Makayla with medical bills, travel expenses to treatment, and household expenses. Please help Makayla win this battle.
