Running tests more than your legs—it tests your mind. Join us for a powerful post-run Brunch & Learn session where we’ll explore the mental side of endurance.

Fox River Trail Runners is excited to welcome Amy Bennett, Community Engagement Director for Second Act/Scene 2 (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers mental health counseling services to those who cannot afford it), and Andrea Holm, FRTR Board Member and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), for an eye-opening discussion on how to build mental strength, manage self-talk, and push through the toughest moments on and off the course.

 What You’ll Learn:

· How running benefits emotional & mental well-being

· Tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to improve race-day performance

· How to apply the Cognitive Model to training and racing

· Strategies to shift negative thoughts into performance-boosting positivity

Whether you’re new to running or chasing your next big goal, this session will equip you with mindset tools to support both your running and everyday life.

Let’s fuel the mind and the body—see you there!
