Have you ever wondered about the many tiny creatures living in our Ozark Streams? The White River Group of the Sierra Club is going to help collect and count all kinds of aquatic macro invertebrates, such as snails and crayfish, at Shepherd of the Hills State Park on Thursday, July 10. We will meet at 4424 Sycamore Church Road, Branson at 9:00 am. If you have any questions, contact Pam at cGpzaGF2ZXI5OTkgfCBnbWFpbCAhIGNvbQ==.
Shepherd of the Hills State Park is one of our newest state parks, purchased in 2016 and working towards opening to the public. Sierra Club members are playing a critical role in the parkβs protection through activism and advocacy. This outing will give participants a sneak peek at this beautiful new park - plus we will be helping with important research.
