Education Series: Why Hazards Must Be Locked in Memory Care

Goal: To understand why everyday items such as shampoo, mouthwash, and cleaning products must be secured in Memory Care settings.​

Maria Sady is the Memory Care Director at Vitalia Senior Living at Strongsville. She has over 30 years of experience in Alzheimer's and dementia care. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts. She serves on the board of the Ohio Person-Centered Care Coalition. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional, and a Certified Activities Director. Caring for people with dementia is her passion.
