[inaudible] is a duo consisting of Amanda Linbom Edwall and Johan Sundell.
In 2020 they released their debut album, "Trans Noise Demanding Cis Silence", a sonic remembrance and celebration of American trans activist Sylvia Rivera and her political work. All sounds on the album are made out of processed and manipulated samples from her speech "Y’all Better Quiet Down" (1973).
They have also produced sound works for artist Conny Karlsson Lundgren: one for the performance "Vi Känner Böjelse för Smekningar av Män (Göteborgsaffären)" (2022) and another for the exhibition "Jag Kysser Dina Ögon" (2024) at Bonniers Konsthall.
In 2024, they performed a three-hour ambient reinterpretation of their debut album at St. Petri Church during Malmöfestivalen. Most recently, they gave a concert at Larry’s Corner in Stockholm.
For Malmö Pride, [inaudible] will present a video and sound performance combining both uptempo and ambient material.
