Simply Slavic, Youngstown’s premier organization celebrating Slavic culture and heritage, in partnership with the New Music Guild and the Youngstown Country Club, is proud to present Brunch & Bohemia: Slavic Sounds with Trio Mente, a live chamber music performance celebrating Czech and Slavic composers in an intimate, accessible format.

Trio Mente features clarinetist Jaroslav Škuta (Czech Republic), pianist Meng Yuan (China/USA), and violinist Dan Qiao (China/USA)—three accomplished artists whose shared vision unites refined artistry with storytelling and cultural expression. Their performance will offer a curated program highlighting Czech and Slavic composers, blending classical repertoire with cultural tradition in an accessible and engaging format.
