Live at Corner Pocket Jazz Club - Crushed Velvet Quartet

The Crushed Velvet Quartet are making their Corner Pocket debut with an evening of your favourite standards from across the eras. Featuring vocalist Amy Jennison-Boyle, with Nic Holmes on keys, Josh Ireland on drums, and Zahckoh Mitchell Dos Santos on bass, the group traces its roots back over six years to their time at university, giving them standout experience of playing together for their age. Now based between Kenilworth and Leamington Spa, the group are finding their feet in the local jazz scene, having taken on a residency at 'Rustiq' of Leamington Spa on Wednesday and Thursday evenings weekly, and an increasingly busy calendar of gigs through the summer and into the autumn. The band hope to bring an easy-going, light and enjoyable atmosphere to the club, with an opportunity to hear and support some emerging local young musicians. We hope to see you there!
