Join The Village Choir for our first-ever Sip & Sing!
Co-directed by Oliver Swain and Claire Butterfield, this fun, casual evening is open to everyone—no experience or sight-reading required. We’ll be learning “Summer of '69” by Canadian icon Bryan Adams while enjoying great company and a relaxed atmosphere.

The Village Choir is a welcoming community choir for all people and all voices. Since 2020, Claire and Oliver have brought people together through a shared love of singing.

The Village Choir
Ever thought about having more music in your life by joining a singing group or choir? Singing is a birthright – just as with speaking, we all have voices to sing. Oliver and Claire have made singing with friends a lifestyle and want to share this gift with Victoria. Bringing together decades of experience as vocalists and educators, Oliver and Claire are building a new vocal community with the third fall/winter season of The Village Choir. Ranging in genre and style, the repertoire will be fun and inclusive for anyone who wants to sing, regardless of experience, and will include folk, gospel, and pop, among others. No audition is required – just bring yourself and your voice.
