Veterans Memorial Park: Dog Pop-up Event

A favorite fetch spot is back for the Fourth — the pop-up dog park at Veterans Memorial Park is reopening for three days of canine fun. The short-term dog park will reopen at ballfield No. 4 (2255 Dexter Road) from Friday, July 4, through Sunday, July 6. And on Saturday, July 5, tails will be wagging even harder during a special dog-friendly event from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Canine companions and their humans can enjoy cool treats, pup-themed crafts, dog enrichment activities and a best trick contest starting at noon. The event is free and open to the public. The temporary dog park is located at the northeast ballfield near Dexter Avenue.
