Our June 26th post-Convention bird walk with be held at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary and Nature Centre which has been providing migratory birds with a place to rest their wings since 1929. Our guide will be Matt Wallace from City Nature YYC. To date, 270 species of birds, 21 species of mammals and 347 species of plants have been recorded at the Sanctuary and Nature Centre by members of the public, volunteers and staff. This month, as of June 10th , 76 species of birds have been reported there via eBird with a nice mix of waterfowl, song birds, raptors, and shorebirds.
