A story of order and disorder, reality and appearance and love and marriage, A Midsummer Night’s Dream tells the twisted and humorous tale of four love-swept Athenian youths escaping parental and royal matchmaking, a bickering fairy king and queen, a royal wedding, and a rambunctious group of working-class citizens aspiring to perform in the roles of their lifetimes.
