2nd Saturdays for Families: Moonlight Masterpieces

Bookending the reading of The Astronaut Who Painted the Moon by Dean Robbins, kids will create their shimmering space scenes using metallic paints and glowing details.

Get creative at the Haggin! 2nd Saturday for Families events are designed for children ages 5-12, and feature an enchanting read-out-loud experience and art activity thoughtfully designed for young readers and budding artists! Each session features a hands-on project inspired by the story and a carefully selected book aligned with our exhibits or monthly theme. Reservations are not required, but seating is available on a first come-first served basis. Materials and activities are included with regular museum admission.
