hi! I've been writing some new songs in preparation for recording later this year. and my incredible band and I have been rehearsing them! we'd love to get your thoughts and feelings about it --- come down and have a listen. we've got sad songs about culture, we've got happy songs about corruption, we've got it all!
with an opening set by the beautiful Jenny & The Hanivers + the wonderful Dovetale
about Jenny & The Hanivers: Zoe Conolan-Glen (Tenor guitar, vocals), Alex Paterson (Bass) and Niya Vohra (Drums) are Jenny and the Hanivers, an inner west band with a script for estradiol and several unmedicated mental health issues. Transgender, transgenre, translucent, Jenny and the Hanivers play rock music like they're scared of it
about Dovetale: Dovetale is the solo project of Sydney musician Tom Hume, based on Gadigal land, creating music that is a reflection on the human experience. Dovetale draws from the folk music of his parents’ generation with the 2010s indie music of his teenhood to create a unique sound that is both nostalgic and contemporary. Dovetale’s songs explore love, loss, friendship, and the age of capitalism-imperialism we inhabit, with a message of solidarity about our collective existence :))
