Attention all HLARA members: The big event is almost
here! The 2025 HLARA “Summer Sizzler” swap meet and
radio display contest will be held on Saturday, June 28th
at Asbury Church, 6767 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK. The event
is FREE and open to the public. The show opens to the
public for buying and trading at 09:00 AM.
Step into a world of vintage charm and timeless craftsmanship at the upcoming Summer Sizzler
event! Attendees will be treated to a day filled with radio displays & contests, and sales &
trades, all while celebrating the golden age of antique radios.
Bring your radios for display and to sell! Friday afternoon set-up is available from
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Saturday morning set-up begins at 8:00 AM. Please bring
your donation items for the auction immediately following lunch. Buy radios,
test equipment, and parts at bargain prices! Auction sales benefit HLARA. There will also be a raffle drawing for a fully restored
Philco 610-B radio in a tombstone/cathedral cabinet
from 1936 (pictured at left). This is an AC 5-tube super
heterodyne receiver featuring standard broadcast,
police, and shortwave reception.
