Music in the Parks: Roseville Community Band

Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.

This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting the Roseville Community Band, an upbeat and energetic community group. Dr. Frank Bencriscutto, conductor and composer of concert band music, was a Roseville resident. He composed "Summer in Central Park" for the Roseville Community Band, and conducted the piece at the band's 30th anniversary concert in 1994.
