Bios:
Laura Ryle is an accomplished quilter who has been sewing since highschool and, over the past 10–15 years, has spent time refining her skills and deepening her craft. She now focuses on pictorial art quilts and moderndesigns, with work shown in local, national, and international exhibitions.
Claudia Shearer is a San Francisco-based quilt maker who has exhibited widely, and has recently begun offering workshops and lecturers specializing in improvisational and modern quilting techniques. Her work can be found at www.claudiashearerquilts.com.
The sisters are daughters of RGP resident, Carol John and the late Walter John.
