Free Class: Summer Plant Foraging for Health & Healing with Leesalyn Koehler

In this class we will identify bio-regional plants, what parts are most beneficial and how they assist us through the hot summer months both nutritionally and medicinally. The tenants of ethical wild harvesting will also be presented for safety, conservation and sustainability.

Leesalyn is the founder of Rhizome Revival - a nonprofit educational farm in Bastrop, TX offering classes in permaculture, homesteading and botanical medicine. As a bio-regional herbalist, she crafts local plants as they are seasonally available and encourages folks of all ages to become stewards of the Earth - befriending plant allies in their own backyard.
