A Public Fit Theatre Company (APF) final staged reading for this season is Elija Young's "The Cold Buffet," directed by Andrew Calvert. The reading takes place in the Main Theater.
ABOUT: Things are never easy when the McCarthy family get together: five years, three major life events, one buffet line. Young’s fresh new comedy embraces the ever-changing dynamics of a modern-age family – the life-long grudges, shifting attitudes, and loving acceptance. Laced with dry humor and a healthy dose of generational conflict, “The Cold Buffet” is a witty reminder that mealtimes can be minefields.
Following the staged reading, APF artists will continue the conversation with The Buzzz, an interactive discussion between the production cast/crew and the audience.
Free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and may be limited.
