Join us in our environmental effort!
Join VAST as we collaborate with Take Adventures Everyday to lead this year's River Cleanup! Volunteers will meet at Farm by Beer Tree and be deployed to clean the Chenango River, Tioughnioga River, and trails at Chenango Valley State Park.
Participants can choose between kayak-based river cleanups or beginner-level hiking trail cleanups. All gear will be provided including: kayaks, paddles, life jackets, gloves, and trash bags. VAST volunteers will be serving as team leads and supply station helpers to guide the day. Check out the registration link for more details on the different shifts and teams.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of any teams departure time in order to check-in and receive supplies. The start time of each shift is the only departure time for the transport shuttle to each site.
