PARKING SPOT: Opposite the entrance of Mt Penang Gardens, Parklands Rd Mount Penang.
MEETING SPOT: Opposite Waterfall Cafe (next to carpark) Please ensure you are here before start time, as we leave on time.
DIFFICULTY: Easy. Level ground/roadways as well as footpath/grass verge. Slight incline.
DISTANCE: 2km
PACE: Average
ACCESSIBILITY: Wheelchair/pram/scooter accessible as sealed roads the entire way
WALK INFO: Come and join a walk through the grounds surrounding Mt Penang Gardens. We stop about halfway at the stone statues. This is a short walk with a coffee afterwards, but if you and your dog would like to walk a bit further you can do another lap or explore the paths a bit more.
FACILITIES: Water, toilet and bins at the cafe. The Cafe is dog friendly, there is also a off leash dog park you can enjoy before or after the walk.
Please note Mt Penang Gardens do not allow dogs within the walled gardens.
All dogs are welcome
Dogs must be on leash - please no retractables.
Treats are fine for your own dog but we ask that you don't feed other members dogs due to medical and aggression issues with some dogs.
Please remember to:
Ask - before you meet a new dog.
Act - If the answer is no please move away & give the dog some space.
If the answer is yes. 3 second rule is a good way to start
