On July 2, 1863, Gen. Custer fought Gen. Hampton Wade in the Battle of Hunterstown Road. This little-known battle resulted in the Confederate Cavalry being defeated and retreating back into Gettysburg. Ever reckless on the field, Custer is almost killed. Learn the β€œreal” story of this second day battle at Gettysburg.

Ticket reservations required and now available. Gate opens at 5:30 p.m. for ticket holders to explore the historic site. The program takes place in the restored historic barn.
