Out of Darkness Into His Marvelous Light

You may have heard about the book “Out of Darkness Into His Marvelous Light” It’s the story of Herb Desjardins life and how God took him on a journey from being a broken young man wracked with fear and depression and used him to build a thriving church in an old dilapidated theater in downtown Bristol, Connecticut that served the homeless, the poor and the needy, and became the largest nonprofit of its type in Connecticut. Attached to the church was a food pantry, which served hundreds of meals a week and also what was called the “Care House” that offered free shelter to those who needed it. It’s a story of many miracles along the way including those at the prayer meetings he would hold every Saturday night in Bristol where countless people received healing and deliverance from their afflictions. The book was aptly named “Out of Darkness Into His Marvelous Light” and Pastor Herb gave me the honor of helping him write and publish the book. Now for the best part… on Friday, July 25 at 7:00 PM, Pastor Herb will be holding a non-denominational prayer meeting at the K of C Hall in Fort Kent also called “Out of Darkness Into His Marvelous Light”, much like the ones he used to have in Bristol and we are expecting to see miracles!
