Join The People’s Echo for a song circle led by Eugene-based community song carrier, Katie Sontag!🎶🎵
We welcome all voices at our events! Songs are taught call-and-echo style and are learned by ear.
Katie Sontag writes songs that are honest and vulnerable. Her vocals, lyrics, and melodic lines capture audiences and take them on an intimate journey. She is both a singer/songwriter and song leader, weaving into her original works unique places for the audience to sing. Her music has been described as "a big hug." She writes, leads, and teaches acapella part songs that have traveled all over the country and been adapted for choirs in Portland, Boulder, Austin & Big Sur.
