The Manor in London: The history of Headstone Manor and the area since 1965

As a celebration of the 60th anniversary of Harrow becoming a London Borough, this small exhibit case will focus in on the changes that happened to the manor house, Great (or tithe) Barn and the other historic structures of the Museum since 1965. Come and see what it was like living in the Manor in the decades leading up to the 1980s, discover hidden elements uncovered during renovations, live past events hosted by the museum and see how the museum looked in Decades Past.
This exhibition is available to view in The ‘Local History Room’ inside The Manor House during normal opening times
