FLOAT-A-THON a back to school community fundraiser by Sunbury Oromocto Park

Float-a-thon is a back-to-school-themed floating challenge and fundraiser happening on the lake at Sunbury Oromocto Park!
Teams of 2β4 people register and collect donations from friends, family, and the community β just like a dance-a-thon or walk-a-thon. But instead of dancing or walking, theyβll float on the lake (on inflatables, paddleboards, canoes β anything non-motorized) for as long as they can. The last team to return to shore wins!
The day will also feature a DJ on the beach, a BBQ, music, and summer fun for spectators and campers β all in support of local kids in need of backpacks and school supplies.
