From Magnolia to Market: The Pride March

Join us as we kick off PrideFest 45 with a powerful moment of reflection, resilience, and unity. “From Magnolia to Market: The Pride March” is a tribute to the origins of Pride in St. Louis and a rallying call to continue the fight for equality and justice.
45 years ago, Pride in St. Louis began as a protest march down Magnolia Avenue, where LGBTQIA+ activists took to the streets to demand visibility, rights, and dignity. Today, we honor that legacy by marching down Market Street—one of the most iconic avenues in our city—toward City Hall.
This is more than a symbolic walk. It is a declaration that we are still here, still proud, and still fighting. At a time when the LGBTQIA+ community continues to face attacks and erasure, we march to show our strength, celebrate our progress, and honor those who paved the way.
Meet us at Kiener Plaza at 9:30 AM on Saturday, June 28, as we come together in solidarity.
All are welcome. Stand tall. Be seen. March with Pride.
