MKRD WFTDA 18+ ROOKIE Sunday Open Scrim

NEW DATE!!!
For many years, MKRD has hosted the occasional open scrim during its regular training time. And this year, we thought to ourselves, WHAT ABOUT OUR ROOKIES?
Thus the idea for our Sunday Rookie Open Scrim was born. We are having our first one and if you are a WFDTA code rookie with 10 or fewer games or an Official of any kind (or want to give officialling a try), you should totally come! (We know it is early but the hall is booked up for the rest of the day so come anyway).
Who: WFTDA rookie skaters 18+ who are signed off by their leagues to scrim and have played 10 or fewer games + any officials or wanna be officials
Cost: £5 for skaters, free for officials (we love officials!)
How it works: Come along and bring both black and white tops. Once everyone is kitted up, we will divide into teams. We play till we have to leave.
Note: this is a closed door event
About Courtside: This is our regular training venue. The ref lanes are narrow so please skate with caution. You can come in straight through the sports hall doors. There are changing rooms but we have never had any success in finding all of the light switches. Park in the lot through the barriers. (Entrance barrier is often up but if it isn't you just need to press to ring).
Afterwards, you are welcome to join us for a drink at the Three Trees pub.
