We would like to invite you to a lecture by Dr. Alex Kor, the son of Eva Mozes Kor, a Holocaust Survivor, educator, and the founder of the CANDLES Holocaust Museum.
Dr. Kor is a podiatrist and an academic from Indiana. He will tell us the story of his parents, who were Holocaust Survivors, and how their unusual story influenced his life. During the meeting he will share his thoughts on the process of healing and learning how to forgive – both of which were his mother’s experiences.
The lecture will be based on Dr. Kor’s latest book “A Blessing, Not a Burden”, which he co-wrote with Graham Honaker. The book depicts the fates of his family and their positive impact on the world. Do not miss this touching and inspiring story on memory, healing, and the strength of family ties.
