The final part of the ceremonies to accept young boys into the 'club' of unmarried men (Taruna). The boys move their left foot on an egg and a bit of bamboo. They hit a coconut three times with a large knife. They are given leaves with flowers and coins, on the back of their hands, and throw them in the air in all four directions: north, west, south, east.
This ceremony also marks the start of the sixth month of the TDT calendar.
