Pack your wigs and hop aboard the most glitter-soaked road trip in cinematic history. Be Kind Rewind Bristol Cinema Club is rolling into town with a screening of the iconic cult classic The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert!

Set against the sun-scorched beauty of the Australian Outback, this joyous 1994 film follows two drag queens - the loud and lovable Tick (aka Mitzi Del Bra, played by Hugo Weaving), and the fiery, fabulous Adam (aka Felicia Jollygoodfellow, played by Guy Pearce), along with their transgender friend and seasoned performer Bernadette (played by the legendary Terence Stamp), as they journey from Sydney to Alice Springs in a battered old bus they christen "Priscilla".

Along the way, the trio encounter small-town hostility, unexpected allies, personal revelations, and unforgettable adventures - all while performing their dazzling drag routines in some of the most remote places imaginable. With its heartwarming message of friendship, identity, and resilience, plus a disco-laden soundtrack that will have you lip-syncing for your life, Priscilla remains a proud and powerful celebration of queer joy.

️Entry is free (donations welcome to support future screenings). No admission when all seats have been taken.
