Beginners’ pottery workshop - Make a decorative bowl using sgraffito
In this workshop, we'll make a dish using a hump mould, chosen from a selection of different shapes and sizes. We will then add colour using underglaze and use the sgraffito technique to carve away a pattern to reveal the white clay under the underglaze. Your dish will then be fired, given a final transparent glaze and then fired for a final time.
All equipment and materials are supplied and you will be able to make, glaze and take home (in a couple of weeks after firing) a unique piece of pottery that you have made yourself.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as anyone who has attended a previous workshop. I am a qualified teacher and the class takes place at in Brooke, just south of Norwich. - £34 per person– limited places available.
