Open Mic Night at Harvard General Store
It's once again time for open mic night at the Harvard General Store. Come play some songs, read a poem, tell a story, run through your drag act or whatever else you're inspired to do! Don't worry if you think your act is too weird, we're totally down with that.
All ages, all genres. And just to be clear, all ages means no age restrictions on the performers or audience, but nor are there any content restrictions on anyone's material. So yes, it's entirely possible someone might drop an F-bomb or bring up an uncomfortable topic. It's totally cool if you're bringing the kids, just decide ahead of time whether they can handle that.
Two songs / 10 minutes per performer, which effectively works out to 18 slots over the course of 3 hours. If we get more people than that, I'll try to squeeze you in at the end, but I can't make any guarantees.
Pizza, beer and wine are available upstairs in the performance space, along with a whole assortment of non alcoholic beverages, coffee and espresso drinks, sandwiches, salads, snacks and desserts in the store downstairs.
