Self Defense 101

Empower yourself with the confidence & skills to protect what matters most! The Lotus Academy will be hosting a Self Defense 101 class for Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors in Shore Pines. The Lotus Academy owner, Katie Gantner’s, mission is safety & inclusion, growth through exploration, empowerment, and family & community. Girl Scouts will learn foundational skills in striking, blocking, and effective techniques for grabs and releases, all taught in a supportive, approachable environment. Having basic self-defense skills isn’t just empowering, it can be life-saving when it matters most.
Space is limited! This class will max out at 18 Girl Scouts. If the class fills, an additional class of 18 spots will be added at 3:30pm Sunday September 21st.
