RYA Powerboat Level 2 (2 day course)

This 2 day course is the perfect introduction to operating power boats safely.
The course includes basic seamanship skills as we start with intoduction to parts of the boat and engine, then slow speed manoeuvres such as coming alongside and man overboard. Once a good understanding is reached we complete your knowledge with high speed manouvering, anchoring as well as skills reqired for towing on land and on the water.
Completion of the RYA Level 2 course will enable you to apply for the International Certificate of Competence and is also the required course for all the RYA Instructor courses.
We provide all sailors with buoyancy aids and we have waterproof jackets and trousers for you to use if the weather is inclement.
