Join us for the 719 Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society (FOOLS) July meeting and
training discussion: Passion of Training presented by David Bullard, Lieutenant and
Hazmat Training Officer with the Columbia County Fire Rescue.
Meet us in-person at Peaks N Pines Brewery at 6 PM. This two-hour virtual presentation will
start at 6:15 PM via zoom. A zoom link will be emailed to members who cannot attend.
David Bullard is a 28-year member of the fire service. He currently serves as a Lieutenant and Hazmat Training Officer with the Columbia County Fire Rescue (Georgia) and a Firefighter with the Grovetown (Georgia) Department of Public Safety. In addition, David is the Georgia Director for the National Volunteer Fire Council and a board member of the Georgia State Firefighters Association and Georgia Pipeline Emergency Response Initiative. David also serves on the National Fire Protection Association’s Working Group on Flammable Refrigerants and was the Secretary of
the International Fire Service Training Association’s Pumping Apparatus Driver Operator and Pipeline Emergencies 3rd Ed
Curriculum Committees. He has contributed to numerous publications, including the “Training Officer’s Desk Reference.” As an active instructor for the Georgia Fire Academy and Georgia EMS Association, David is
constantly engaged with teaching live fire,
leadership, hazmat, and farm machinery extrication.
