Evenings Under the Stars: Star Wars Symphony

The Phil performs a special concert as part of South Shore Conservatory’s summer concert series! Conductor Nick Palmer and Plymouth Phil musicians bring to life the legendary works of composer John Williams alongside masterpieces from composers such as Strauss, Korngold, Holst, Giacchino, and Göransson. Featured selections include bold themes from Rogue One, The Mandalorian, and The Book of Boba Fett. The heart of the program centers on the sweeping, heroic, and emotional music of the Star Wars saga: “The Imperial March,” “Princess Leia’s Theme,” and the triumphant Main Title. “Also Sprach Zarathustra,” and “Mars” from The Planets are part of the program. Join us for a night that honors storytelling through sound, showcasing the timeless legacy of John Williams and the power of live performance to transport us to galaxies far, far away.
