Helping Hands Volunteer Opportunity

Join us and help enhance the beauty of the Arboretum together, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, April through October.

What to expect:

Volunteers are invited to assist with seasonal projects such as planting, light pruning, and garden maintenance. Occasionally tasks will include plant label assembly or off-site plant collection trips. Lunch is usually provided at 11:30 if there is interest among the group that day.

How to prepare:

Check the weather and dress appropriately for the expected outdoor conditions - we usually won't stop for light passing showers but will cancel for steady rain.
We would recommend that you bring a kneeling pad, gloves, and sun protection.
Tools are provided; if you opt to bring your own hand tools be sure your name is on them.

Where to meet:

As you enter the Arboretum driveway, look for the flagpole and first parking lot on the left. We will meet there, then head to the day’s project site as a group.

Whether you’re looking to give back or learn something new, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and your community. Let’s grow the Arboretum together!
