Fusion is partner dance without rules. Fusion is the melting pot for all partner dance styles to co-create. Without any predetermined patterns we dance to the beat of the music and the whim of our partner.
Fusion Connection attracts a wide variety of dancers. We have dancers with backgrounds in Zouk, Salsa, Bachata, West Coast Swing, Tango, and beyond.
Fusion Connection regularly has people trying out partner dance for the first time. We're very supportive of new dancers! Message your hosts, Tzoul Shine and Alex Coffman with any questions.
You don't need to bring a partner to join us. Water and snacks available. Bring comfortable, supportive shoes with minimal tread, or hard soles. Dancing in socks can be a last resort. Bare feet are discouraged; save your knees and toes.
All levels class at 6pm. Arrive a bit early to check in.
This month we have some very special guests instructing from the Sacramento dance scene: Brent Bianchini and Brooklyn Schmitt. Brooklyn is a long time Fusion dancer and has learned many styles beyond that. She recently moved to Nevada County and has bringing her dance, and friend Brent to Fusion Connection. Brent is a professional Ballroom Dance instructor.
Brooklyn and Brent will perform a rarely seen double DJ shared set from 7-8:30. Chrissy Mehnert will be returning to finish out the night for the second set until 10.
Bring $20 or Venmo at the door. Short on funds or busy that night? Catch the last hour of dance from 9-10pm for $10. See Alex Coffman or Tzoul Shine to sign in after 9pm.
