After more than a decade of lighting up Charlottetown with bold, boundary-pushing performances in the heat of summer, the Island Fringe Festival is making a vibrant seasonal shift. For the first time ever, the 2025 edition of the festival will take place October 8 - 12—trading swimsuits for scarves and infusing the Fringe experience with a cozy dose of autumn magic.
This year’s lineup features ten diverse productions—with five from PEI, three from across Canada, and two hailing from the United States. True to Fringe form, audiences can expect an eclectic mix of styles and genres, including dance, drama, comedy, and puppetry—something for every curious heart and open mind.
