WatDFunk is a collaboration of very experienced and emerging musicians with the fundamental desire to provide high energy entertainment whenever we play. Think of it as placing the capital E into entertainment.
WatDFunk have picked through the catalog of songs and artists from the 70’s through to the 90’s best categorised as funky, grooved based, dance related tunes guaranteed to even having grandma and grandpa swinging on the dance floor.
Our job is to take you on a journey of the good old days think Soul Train, Disco, and Night clubs where people wore their funky best, and worked up a sweat as James Brown blasted through the speakers singing “I feel good”.
