Experience the Historic world of the Tudor Royals Earls of Derby in the North. This old Elizabethan Village is home to many Ghost Tales and Legends of Smugglers, Prostitution and Historic Buildings. You will ascend onto the Supernatural Hill where there is Legends of Witchcraft, Hauntings and sightings of Mythical Beings.
Richard Tilly, a Satanist and lecherous murderer, is said to be buried close to the Bidston windmill and legend has it that his ghastly-looking zombie-like form has been seen to slowly emerge from its grave on some moonlit nights. Even in death, the lustful Tilly has allegedly attacked young ladies who have been foolish enough to cross the hill after dark
