Coffee in Berlin: Berlin Art House Cinema at its best

Stuck in a rut of bad luck, a college dropout wanders around the streets of Berlin, crossing paths with a slew of eccentric characters. Jan Ole Gerster's debut feature film βA Coffee in Berlinβ (2012, 86 min, originally titled βOh Boyβ) takes the audience on a young man's search for meaning β and an ever elusive cup of plain, black brew.
Itβs a somber tale told with jazz, blues, black and white photography, and an incredible performance from Tom Schilling. There is a lot of truth to A Coffee in Berlin. There is a lot of humor too. We suppose thatβs life.
