Class Experience
This introductory series is designed to build your confidence and skill with clay through a hands-on, structured approach. Over four weeks, you'll learn the core techniques of hand building that form the foundation for independent studio work.
Each of the first three classes focuses on a different technique (pinch, coil, and slab building) giving you the tools to create both functional and sculptural forms. In the fourth class, you'll learn the glazing process, applying finishing touches to your pieces.
By the end of the series, you'll have completed multiple ceramic pieces and gained the essential knowledge needed to work independently in the studio. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials are included. Two hours of open studio are available weekly to practice or work on your class pieces--clay sold seperately.
