We are thrilled to announce that this years dressage finals will be sponsored by the wonderful team at Dengie
How to qualify
BCPS Dressage Championship qualifiers are open to anyone with a registered pure-bred or part-bred Connemara Pony. However, different rules apply for taking part in the Finals if you do qualify – see the “Finals rules” section below.
You can qualify at any unaffiliated dressage competition. We accept qualifications at Intro, Prelim and Novice levels. In order to compete at Intro, the combination of pony and rider must not have competed at British Dressage affiliated level.
In the Final, the Prelim and Novice sections will be split into Open (for those who have competed at British Dressage affiliated level) and Restricted (for those who have not competed at British Dressage affiliated level).
There are two ways to qualify for the BCPS Dressage Championship Finals:
Achieve a first or second place in your test arena; or
Achieve a score of 65% or above at an unaffiliated dressage competition
Qualifiers taking place up to and including 1st July 2025 are eligible for the 2025 Finals. After that date, qualifications will go to the 2026 Finals.
Please send evidence of your qualifying place or score to Z2lsbGV2YW5zNzIxIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20= in order to enter the Finals.
