Gaia Pacifica + Darmus live at The Glebe Free Entry.

This World Music, Anglo-African band made their debut gig here, in November of last year. They were so newly formed at that point, they hadn't yet agreed on a name. Since then, they’ve agreed on Gaia Pacifica and now have other gigs under their belts. The band members are all local, experienced musicians, namely : Joe Stingray (Dread Lagoon) on Bass, Gaiostopher Mane (Stingray - Funky World Groove Band) on Guitar and Vocals, Jake Smith (Dread Lagoon) on Drums and Percussion, and Dave Woolley (Kotu Drummers) on Kora, Gongoma and Castanets.

Opening this night, will be Dave Hullat's looping project band Darmus and it's going to be great having both bands back here to play.
