Join presenter Bonnie Nuttkinson on September 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM to explore what to do next when someone you know is experiencing memory changes as a part of the Fond du Lac Caregiving Conference.
Are you or someone you care about experiencing changes in memory or thinking? This informative session is designed for individuals who are beginning to notice these changes—whether in themselves, a family member, or a friend—and are unsure of what to do next. We will explore common signs of cognitive change, when to seek medical advice, and how to start conversations about memory concerns. You’ll also learn about available resources, tips for preparing for a doctor’s visit, and how to access support for both individuals experiencing changes and their care partners. Join us to gain knowledge, reassurance, and a clear path forward.
Since presenter Bonnie Nuttkinson was a young girl she has been interacting and caring for people with dementia and their caregivers. Previously she was a professional caregiver while in grad school and spent seven years working and volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association. Bonnie has a Master’s in Family Studies & Human Development from UW-Stout. Her focus is on Dementia Care and Caregiver Research. When not working she loves spending time with her fur babies; Frankie, Boots with the Fur, Tazz, Toby and Archie.
