Join Sue and Elmarie as they provide education to help you have a successful summer garden, full of ripe tomatoes, bountiful zucchinis and prolific beans!

Shuswap Teaching Garden : 5921 30th St NE

-Refreshments provided but BYO water bottles

There is plenty to learn about growing all these hot loving annual crops so that you can have the abundance you seek as you grow more of your own food!

Sue will focus on tomatoes: pruning, trellising and also any concerns you might have with yours - blossom end rot, green tomatoes, or that pesky tomato horn worm.

Elmarie can showcase more about encouraging more fruit on summer and winter squash as well as proper pruning of herbs to encourage more bushy growth.

We'll provide refreshments. Families and children encouraged. There are play spaces, a portable toilet, shelter for sun or rain and a beautiful garden to tour!

Share this information with others and let's see more and more people learning the art and skill of growing healthy and abundant gardens here in the Shuswap!
