In this one hour abbreviated introduction to mountain biking, our certified NIMBA instructor will focus on foundational mountain bike skills such as body & eye position, equally weighted pedals, & finger brake position. We also discuss the mountain bike itself and touch on core principles of bike maintenance.
We recommend ages 10 and up.
This is an ideal class for absolute beginner riders or those who are considering investing in a mountain bike. Kids & families are welcome.
Helmets and bicycles are required and will not be provided.
Skills clinics are FREE for NIMBA members.
If you are not currently a NIMBA member, we recommend a $30 donation to cover the fees with the clinic. Consider signing up to support NIMBA & all the trail advocacy we provide.
Limit of 6 registrants.

Meet at: Playground parking lot, just past the mountain bike trailhead
