Title: My Church My Works Pt 2: Heaven or Hell

David Gilmore of Pink Floyd fame famously asked the question, “So you think you can tell heaven from hell?” It seems like a strange question with our overly simplistic, mythical characterization of heaven and hell. You know, red, sulfurous demons, angels with tiny harps, eternal torment, etc. But Jesus borrows imagery from the Jewish and Greek worlds to reveal something that was bigger. Something that was neither Greek nor Hebrew. Something he called “The Kingdom.”
