About Dinorah Klingler: Dinorah started her musical journey with her guitar in Mexico City when she was 9 years old. For fun, Dinorah and her sisters would go to subways and buses to put on performances. After taking professional music lessons, Dinorah moved to Los Angeles as a 20 year old and joined an all-female mariachi called Mariachi Las Adelitas. Soon after, Dinorah formed her own all-female mariachi, Mariachi Las Alondras who performed with stars such as Stevie Wonder, Sheila E, Patty LaBelle, and Celia Cruz. Twenty years later, Dinorah moved to northern California and formed a new all-female mariachi, Mariachi Bonitas de Dinorah Klingler in Sacramento, California.
The Live at The HIVE concert series features an incredible lineup of local and touring bands in September and October. A sliding scale suggested cover charge helps to ensure all community members are welcome.
